TechMagic Lists Seven I-Robo 2 Demo Locations in Japan

Published: Published on Zhilianhai

A July announcement identifies seven demonstration locations

On July 7, 2026, TechMagic announced a network of seven company and partner locations in Japan for viewing and trying its I-Robo 2 stir-fry robot. The announcement listed Hokkaido, two Kanto locations, Chubu, Kinki, Kyushu and Shikoku. Partners named in the release included Hokkaido Electric Power, Fujimak and Shikoku Electric Power. These were demonstration opportunities described by the manufacturer, not seven new restaurant installations. July demonstration-network announcement.

The Shikoku entry was a mobile showroom. Consequently, the announcement should not be read as seven permanent showrooms with identical opening hours. It directed prospective visitors to TechMagic for reservations and demonstration schedules.

What visitors can evaluate

The current I-Robo 2 product page describes automation after ingredients have been loaded, including cooking and pan washing. Its independently driven pan and spatula and recipe controls are manufacturer-described features. They establish a useful demonstration scope without implying that ingredient preparation, plating and the entire kitchen workflow are autonomous. I-Robo 2 product information.

A buyer should bring a defined menu and ingredient specification. Testing a familiar recipe makes it easier to assess the result against the restaurant's own requirements than watching an unfamiliar promotional dish.

A separate restaurant example provides context

In a June 9, 2026 release, TechMagic reported I-Robo 2 use at Ramen Kagetsu Arashi's DECKS Tokyo Beach outlet, which opened on May 21. That is a separate manufacturer account of a restaurant application. The release's operational and commercial benefits should be read as attributed statements, not independent proof that another restaurant will obtain the same outcome. Buyer analysis: turn a visit into a useful trial

Agree on the test before arriving. Specify portions, ingredient temperatures, recipe variations and the number of consecutive batches. Include loading, unloading, cleaning and the transition between recipes in the observation period. Record staff activity as carefully as the machine's cooking sequence.

Ask to inspect the proposed kitchen layout with the people responsible for utilities, ventilation and daily sanitation. A convincing cooking result is only one part of the decision: the installation also needs a workable movement pattern for staff, ingredients, utensils and finished dishes.

Use a consistent scorecard for taste, texture, portion consistency and handling effort. The scorecard is an editorial evaluation suggestion, not a report of tests performed at these facilities.

Confirm the current appointment and configuration

The July announcement remains a dated reference, not a guarantee of an appointment today. Confirm the location, available model, recipes allowed, demonstration format and any visit conditions directly with TechMagic. Ask which options and installation services would appear in the eventual offer.
