Robot Keystores: Retain Identity and Recovery Provenance
Review robot keystore provenance, runtime identity, access controls and restoration evidence without exposing private keys in delivery reports. This guide concerns robot integration and delivery review. The proposed observations are editorial assessment guidance, grounded in the linked original documentation and subject to the deployed version. They do not describe an on-site test of a particular machine or establish whole-system acceptance from a single interface response.

Establish keystore provenance
Record the authorised creation process, intended deployment and tool revision. Identical directory names do not establish identical contents or trust relationships. Associate the deployment through a controlled manifest and suitable public certificate identifiers. Ordinary delivery reports can document that relationship without including private-key contents or copying sensitive materials into a general document store.
For this review, identify the delivered device, software and configuration revisions first. Record unsupported, disabled and untested capabilities separately. Evidence from another model is useful context, but cannot establish what the delivered combination actually provides. Keep the original input beside the settings used to interpret it.
Join identity to the launched process
Retain the selected enclave, keystore location and relevant launch environment. The tutorial configures each terminal separately. A correctly configured maintenance shell does not establish that a service launcher inherited the same settings. Review the configuration source of the actual process, linking its startup evidence to the identity expected for that deployment.
Retain the original input and the reason for the decision, rather than a successful screenshot alone. Change only the variables agreed for the comparison, and keep the before-and-after configuration. List conditions that were not exercised explicitly; they should not silently become part of the accepted operating range.
Separate file access from communication authority
Operating-system read access establishes file accessibility, rather than middleware permission to communicate. Review the runtime account, certificate identity and communication configuration separately. Record the layer producing a refusal. The evidence matrix helps classify observations without assuming that every startup or communication failure indicates a damaged key or an invalid certificate.
Use the three illustrated observations as starting questions, rather than as diagnoses of an installation that has not been inspected. Check record completeness, units and identity before selecting the next observation. An unresolved result is more informative than a confident explanation assembled from missing fields or unrelated test runs.

Review restoration dependencies
In an approved isolated environment, inspect restored structure, file inventory and selected identity. Pair restoration with corresponding startup and communication observations. Successful extraction alone does not establish a functioning restored deployment. After a path change, inspect launcher references to ensure the process did not continue using an older directory or a different set of materials.
Let the site owner choose an approved isolated way to exercise relevant exceptions. Record normal operation, the exceptional condition and recovery separately. The purpose is to establish how the application recognises and explains untrustworthy input, without requiring production equipment to act on deliberately invalid results.
Deliver identity and ownership records
Deliver suitable public identifiers, controlled storage locations, backup ownership and configuration history. Establish who may update or restore the materials and review affected processes after certificate or permission changes. Report the verified scope. A working example exchange is evidence about that exchange, rather than proof of every security property of the complete robot installation.
Deliver the configuration, representative samples, result table and unresolved questions together. Agree who reviews subsequent changes. The receiving team should be able to select one conclusion and trace it back to its input and decision path without relying on the original author to reconstruct the missing steps.
